737's revolting. Jealous about 787 Dreamliner

I just read this article about a Boeing 737 which crashed in Indonesia today.

I started thinking that I've been hearing about a lot of 737's crashing lately, so I did a quick news search. This is part of a list I found. If you click the link, you'll see the entire list. Also, in the comments for that post you'll find a bigger list showing all 737 crashes ever - and there's a lot, a lot more then I thought. Not sure how the 737 crash rate compares to other airliners. This site says it has a crash rate of .39 per 1 million flights. It's actually one of the safest planes in the air - which is kinda scary given it's several crashes each year.

2005 23 August: The Boeing 737-200 operated by the Tans airline was carrying about 100 people on an internal flight from the capital, Lima, when it went down in a storm. A passenger plane crashed in Peru's Amazon jungle killing at least 40 people and injuring many more. 14 August: A Helios Airways (Boeing 737) flight from Cyprus to Prague with 121 people on board crashes north of the Greek capital Athens, apparently after a drop in cabin pressure......
