old people porn exploding in Japan!

from Time.com

"Japan's Booming Sex Niche: Elder Porn"-time.com

Besides his glowing complexion, Shigeo Tokuda looks like any other 74-year-old man in Japan. Despite suffering a heart attack three years ago, the lifelong salaryman now feels healthier, and lives happily with his wife and a daughter in downtown Tokyo. He is, of course, more physically active than most retirees, but that's because he's kept his part-time job — as a porn star.

Miyamoto - Dress him up like Donkey Kong

Go on and head over to the Shigeru Miyamoto dress up doll page. Put him in a monkey suit or dress him up like Mario. You can even leave him in his underwear. Your choice.

Name That Game

Today we are featuring an old SNES game with a wacky artistic flair from Japan. The game was made by Bandai in 1993 and was an Action platformer - 2 players. It was based on "a comic (manga) series created in 1959 (under the alternative title Hakaba no Kitarō (墓場鬼太郎, Hakaba no Kitarō?)) by Japanese cartoonist Shigeru Mizuki. It is best known for its popularization of the folklore creatures known as yōkai, a class of spirit-monster to which all of the main characters belong. It has been adapted for the screen several times, as animation, live-action, and video games."

Name That Game

"Three months after the events in the original [game], which culminated in West Mansion being set ablaze and the fate of Rick's girlfriend, Jennifer (who had been abducted and held captive by the demonic forces of the mansion) being left up in the air, Rick is beckoned by the "Terror Mask" to once again trek back to West Mansion (or at least the ashes of what it once was) in an effort to find Jennifer and rescue her from the clutches of the evil that resides there. While at the site of the mansion fire, Rick is knocked unconscious and soon after reawakens with the mask attached to his face ready to begin the search for his love. Once there, Rick finds the journal of Dr. Mueller, the next tenant of the West Mansion. There, his journal states he left many things intentionally to fight off the monsters as well as enter the Void"

This game was noted mostly for it's "gore". I never felt it was ever gory enough, which is why I returned it shortly after buying it and playing it on my Genesis. I've played it again recently on my pc and it's actually a fine game with some shitty graphics.

The game that spawned this sequel was originally an arcade game by Namco in 1988. a port of the arcade game was then made for various systems, most notably the Turbografx-16. The genesis version was released in 1992 by Namco. What game or series is this? Name that game!

Out sick= work on blog...and a lot of rest

Well, I've done a few things around the blog today. Mostly, I've erected a new section called "topics". You can locate it under the "recent rants" section. It will basically allow for someone to click on a label and see all of the stuff that's been posted under "politics" or stuff posted by "Mr. Mescalito". However, in order for that to work, we all need to start labeling our posts.

You may have noticed the "labels for this post" box below the text box you write in when creating a new post. Basically, what we all need to do to make the new section actually work, is to use this box. And the things we type into that box, need to match the text in the "topics" section word for word. Like: "posts by Black Domina" must be typed exactly the same - including making sure lower case and upper case letters match. Also, each post should have multiple labels like: "posts by Joe, video, tabliod junk"(a label that might need to be added). Basically, each post should have at least who it's posted by and what topic it falls under listed in the "labels for this post" box. I've done that already for a number of my recent and past posts - past posts include name that game. So, when you click on most of the links, they'll take you to posts of mine which I've labeled accordingly. The only links that aren't yet linked to anything are the ones like: posts by LP Gddess. You can click on them but the page will be blank.

I kind of feel like a nazi asking you all to do this shit. But, I just really think it would make the blog a better place. And, it's a pretty cool new feature.

Also, let me know if any of you would like to change the label names that are up right now. And, I'm sure there are topics I've not thought of.

A repost of "something for the blog" - get back to me on this

Hey guys - from the dwindling list of contributors to this here blog. I was fooling around with blogger the other day and discovered the wonders of this new feature called labeling. It's located down below the text box you write in when you post to the blog. It basically allows for grouping together of posts tagged with the same label. So, say you label your post "science". Any other posts that you or I label with that very same label "science" will be grouped together by that label, should someone click on the "label" link(which appears at the bottom of your post when you publish it) or a link, let's say, located on our sidebar below the list of contributors. So, I propose that we begin using this, as it would make it easier to locate and archive posts. Train heads, for example, could have it's own label. Which means, when clicking on the sidebar link that says "train heads" you would be taken away to a land of only train heads posts. No politics, video, science or even name that game. I would love to begin to label things by topics. So, let me know what you think. GB out.

** I had to repost this cause of issues with the blog. For some reason haloscan is not showing up for the previous post.**

Update: I just made a sample section called "Topics" below the recent rants section. I used my own posts as guinea pigs. I want to do this, so please let me know what other topics we should have or if you would like to change the current name of a topic in the test section. Just look at how easy it has made looking at name that game - all on one page!

Drunk and typing

I don;t know how Thurday nights have become a typical night for openings, but it has to stop. I just got back from an after after party for an opening that took place at my gallery. I feel sick and still a little drunk and I have to work in a few hours. Why di I do the whole thing tonighT? Mainly because of a gol. A hot asian girl ... who has a boyfriend. I ended up telling her how sexy and beautiful she was, etc. I even touched her lower back and she told me how naughty I was. I agreed. It was nice... even though her boyfriend was there. Whatever. I'm drunk as shit and my stomach ain't foprgiving me antime soon. Goodnight, shit heads!

"batteries included"

Two weeks ago, a gift-wrapped box was left at the house Crystal shares with her grandmother. The box had batteries on top, and a note that said "Congratulations Crystal. This side up. Batteries included."

Crystal opened the box and found her dog's head inside. The box also contained Valentine's Day candy.

This is one super fucked up little story. Another thing that jumped out at me when I read it was that the supposed 17 year old sounds retarded. Not that it necessarily has anything to do with anything.

End of world to come because of a lack of appropriations

"NASA officials say the space agency is capable of finding nearly all the asteroids that might pose a devastating hit to Earth, but there isn't enough money to pay for the task so it won't get done. 'We know what to do, we just don't have the money,' said Simon 'Pete' Worden, director of NASA's Ames Research Center."

As I once sex to have wanted

Here's part of a "translated" post from a german blog. Thank God for this Google feature. ;-)

as I once sex to have wanted

that is none here sexblog, for lack of sex and others bases, otherwise would have been long reported to thus, meet over what went some months ago, as the woman from the Internet, from whom I did not know many more than older and statur and whose know about me was similarly exhaustive, as that woman and I decided, each other because we wanted, TC, sex, with one another, by which virtual anonymity however should remain as many existing as possible also in the material, so that we agreed in the long run to select as place of the meeting a hotel room

Radio controlled pigeons?

Scientists with the Robot Engineering Technology Research Center of east China's Shandong University of Science and Technology say they implanted micro electrodes in the brain of a pigeon so they can command it to fly right or left or up or down.

The implants stimulated different areas of the pigeon's brain according to signals sent by the scientists via computer, and forced the bird to comply with their commands.

A post for myself - GB

So, it appears I am able to post now. For whatever reason, I have been unable to post since my last post - whenever that was. That is all behind me now, I guess.

Anyway, I am finishing up my pancakes, and am enjoying them very much. Wish you all could be here to enjoy them with me. I miss you all and wish Mesc, LP, Rosey and Joe would make an appearance on the blog, at the very least.

Now on to my day as planned:

Today, I hope to go to the armory show with Dan and Dave (the guys I had the show with at UT), and pickup one of my paintings from my gallery - Dan and I are trading paintings. This way, neither one of us will ever be too far from our masterworks. And we can visit them regularly. So, it's all art for me today.

P2P drain on music sales appears negligible

"A new study in the Journal of Political Economy by Felix Oberholzer-Gee and Koleman Strumpf has found that illegal music downloads have had no noticeable effects on the sale of music, contrary to the claims of the recording industry."

"The study reports that 803 million CDs were sold in 2002, which was a decrease of about 80 million from the previous year. The RIAA has blamed the majority of the decrease on piracy, and has maintained that argument in recent years as music sales have faltered. Yet according to the study, the impact from file sharing could not have been more than 6 million albums total in 2002, leaving 74 million unsold CDs without an excuse for sitting on shelves."
