Book on Philip Guston costs up to $679.29
I received a $50 gift card for Barnes and Noble this Christmas and was researching one of the many products that I might like to purchase with it - when I was floored by the price. nearly $700 for a frickin' book is beyond my comprehension. It's apparently that good...And out of print. But still. Anyway, I'm sure I'll find a cheaper book on this classic American artist who, by the way, was represented by Marlborough Gallery at the "height" of his career(that was the famed crappy gallery I worked for before getting canned). I'll just have to look harder. I just want a really good book with good reproductions, which can be hard to find.
