Short taxi ride in Beijing

In an effort to cover as many forms of transportation possible here, I've got this video taken from a taxi. This is one of the smaller streets here. There are some very large multi-lane boulevards throughout the city with a lot more traffic and a faster pace then this. Again, youtube butchered the quality - watch it in small mode.



If you watch closely at the very end, you'll notice that the taxi driver is sitting inside a little cage! It's actually pretty smart - if you've seen the partition in a NY taxi, anyone sitting in the front seat has easy access to the driver. Although those bars towards the front in the Beijing taxi's do allow some access say for a gun. Here's a better look...
