Name That Game #37

This may appear to be some sort of horse racing title, but that it is not. Released in 1992 by FCI/Pony Canyon, this "role playing game" is tedious and goes nowhere. The scene depicted here is of my character riding into town from the woods - where I have to make my horse jump over logs and puddles, etc. It carries the name of a well respected rpg franchise that most of us played in Highschool. What is this game?
