Prize Puzzle

As of now, the Katrina Death Toll stands at 246 according to CNN. That's Lousianna, Mississippi, Florida and I believe Georgia combined. I tried to find some kind of official website but there isn't one. I don't know if 246 is accurate, but it's good enough for now because it will surely change.

We keep hearing numbers like 'thousands', '10,000' and '20,000'. I'm sure someone will take 15,000 soon.

Guess here what the final combined tally will be. I think the estimates we are hearing are wildly exagerrated (remember hearing 50,000 dead on 9/11?). My guess is 1246.
