Fixing my ipod

Well, I have finally recieved my new hard drive for my old trusty ipod, and am now in the process of formatting the damn thing - which seems to go on forever. When I first installed the new HD I connected it to the computer without deinstalling itunes first, which seems to have been a problem. The ipod continued to do those crazy things that I had originally bought this new drive for. So, I uninstalled itunes and everything seems to be going fine...so far. I've taken some pictures of the ipod during surgery and'll post em later tonight after all is done. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
